We had two tours in Skagway! The first was a street car tour of the town with the driver/guide providing an interesting and knowledgeable tour. She really did a great job of filling 90 minutes with a town of 900 people . . . very small town. She was very entertaining.
In the afternoon, we took the narrow gauge railroad to just inside the Canadian border. This was a really good tour with many spectacular sites. I stood out on the platform of the car the entire 90 minutes snapping picture after picture.
On this night, we had dinner in the Pinnacle Dining Room an upscale restaurant on the ship. The food was spectacular. My appetizer was Steak Tartar followed by a 10 oz fillet. A very nice glass of Port concluded the evening. Jill, had the Lobster Bisque & Shrimp Cocktail to begin with her main course being Halibut.
