We spent most of the day in Glazier Bay. We did see numerous glaziers including Marjorie which was taller than our ship. We saw another that stretched 30 miles back into Canada. Words cannot describe the overall beauty of Glazier Bay National Park. The scenery was awesome!. We did see some mountain goats and Jill & Martha did catch a glimpse of a whale. Apart from birds, that is all the wild life we have seen so far! Yesterday in Glazier Bay, for the first time the skies opened up and we had a cool but sunny day that really helped the glazier and scenic viewing.
Dinner tonight was formal, forced to wear a tie for a second time on this trip. The main course for both Jill and I was “surf & turf” Lobster and a small fillet. It was very good and (yes Bill K) we did conclude the evening with a glass of Port. The wine package was really worth it as we enjoyed another 1/2 bottle at dinner.
